This build is focused on creating a Priest of Mitra (PoM) capable of solo grinding efficiently, while maintaining the core skills required to be an effective group healer. For the most part, the PoM community has a consensus about the important feats for leveling. This guide will explain the best order in which [...]

Nerfs, nerfs and more nerfs in Age of Conan

While I’ve been enjoying my time thus far in Hyboria, the basically endless stream of nerfs is starting to really bother me. The game has only recently passed its one month anniversary. While it had a successful launch, now is the true test of the game’s longevity. How many people actually committed themselves to a [...]
Overpowered? Tempest of Set and Priest of Mitra

Are these two classes really overpowered? It appears that a lot of people in the official forums seem to think so. Both class forums and even the general forum is getting a flood of ‘nurf l33t preists!!’ posts (I don’t know l33t speak at all, but you get my point). I call these [...]
Priest of Mitra Spellweaving

My PoM finally hit level 50! Since then, she’s spent most of her time learning how to use spellweaving. I’m still having fun watching the over-the-top graphical effects. It’s absolutely ridiculous and I can’t wait to see hordes of spellcasters using spellweaving in raids, sieges and other large group events.
Here is a video I posted [...]

UPDATE 6/26/08 The latest version of the PoM Leveling Build Guide to 80 can be found here.
Now that Purification of Mitra has been relegated to a ‘nice bonus’, rather than a primary damage dealer, making the feat selections are no longer straightforward. There are a lot of very good skills at the top of [...]
My Priest of Mitra is level 44. More advice for PoM’s.

The more I play my Priest of Mitra, the more I love this class. I am almost tempted to add her to my list of favorite classes, but it’s too early in her career. I am an altoholic (I roll tons and tons of different characters to try out all the classes), so [...]
Priest of Mitra feat advice up to level 30

My priest of Mitra is almost level 26 and coming along nicely. I would be much higher, but I took some time to level up my ranger and necromancer. All three have a very different playstyle, which I will grow to appreciate even more as I continue playing.
A shot of my PoM in [...]
Priest of Mitra to level 23 and my planned feat template

My Priest of Mitra is now level 23 and I am really enjoying this class. Somewhere around level 16, she really grew into her own and I feel almost overpowered at times. Compared to the other classes I’ve tried so far and seeing other people play, the PoM is surprisingly good.
Here is a [...]
Ranger, Priest of Mitra and Necromancer

These are the three classes I will be playing. Why? Because I like PvP and for PvP, I prefer well-rounded classes.
Funcom is marketing the PvP aspect of their game quite heavy. It still looks like the PvP servers will be a free-for-all, so competition will be fierce. The developers are going [...]
