Even though I’ve been enjoying my time with Champions Online, that doesn’t mean it doesn’t have some major problems. Many of the problems are because CO is a brand new game. Hopefully some of these problems will be fixed by launch. Unfortunately, CO has some core problems that might be more difficult to manage.

I can’t seem to stop playing Champions Online. I’m having so much fun with this game. It’s so stupid because I’m spoiling my experience for when the game finally goes live.
When I do finally leave my computer, I find myself thinking about strategies on how to best build my characters or how to be better [...]

Champions Online: Open beta patching nightmare

It still feels like some weird form of self-inflicted torture. I keep thinking to myself, “I paid [...]
Finally got my Champions Online open beta key from Gamestop
Posted in Champions Online, Gaming, MMORPG, tagged beta, Champions Online, Gamestop, preorder on August 12, 2009 | 4 Comments »
Note: If you received a preorder beta key, when you go to Fileplanet to download the client, remove the dashes when it asks for your key for validation. No dashes. No spaces. A lot of people are complaining that their key doesn’t work. Someone messed up (Fileplanet or Cryptic) and it’s worse because the error [...]
My Aion Beta Experience, first impressions

I’ve said in the past that I was no longer willing to expose myself to the always frustrating beta programs for new MMORPG’s.
Turns out that I have no willpower whatsoever. After reading about the Aion beta experience all over the web, I was too tempted to wait until September’s launch. By all reports, Aion is [...]

It’s been 7 long years in development. From the beginning, the developers (Aventurine SA) promised a sandbox game [...]
